*Campus Cops
is an American TV comedy that aired on Saturday nights from January 6 until March 30, 1996 for a total of 13 episodes. The series centered on bumbling campus policeman, Wayne Simko and Andy McCormack, who worked at Canfield University.
Carl Gottlieb:
(Born March 18, 1938) Gottlieb is an American screenwriter, actor, comedian, and executive, best known for co-writing the screenplay for JAWS and its first two sequels, as well as directing the 1981 film CAVEMAN. In the 1960s, Carl was a member of the San Francisco Improv Comedy troupe, “The Committee”) and went to write and appear in numerous films and TV shows. Gottlieb also co-wrote David Crosby’s two autobiographies, 1989’s “Long Time Gone” and 2006’s “Since Then”.
*Mr. Gottlieb and John Landis were both directors on this underated classic comedy series. This was Mr. Gottlieb’s personal distribution piece – Lot comes with a COA from the Museum of Mom and Pop Culture signed by Mr. Gottlieb as shown.
